I am a New York-based composer and instrumental music educator committed to fostering environments where students can engage with music not only as a discipline but as a way of knowing, creating, and expressing. My work whether on the podium or on the page, centers on joy, curiosity, inclusion, and reflection.

I believe in inviting audiences and students into a lifelong relationship with music. I teach and write not just to build better performers, but to cultivate musical thinkers, listeners, and creators who understand music’s role in their lives and communities.
